Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
AIP is a permanent residence pathway for eligible skilled workers and qualifying international graduates who want to live in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador.
Job offer from a designated employer
You must have an eligible offer from a designated employer in an Atlantic province. Employer designation alone does not guarantee that an individual job or applicant qualifies.
Candidate eligibility and settlement
Review the applicable work-experience or graduate exemption, education, language and settlement-fund requirements. Settlement planning and provincial endorsement are part of the process. Check the relevant province’s current intake instructions.
Permanent residence and temporary work
After meeting the program and endorsement requirements, apply through the required federal process. A separate temporary work permit may be available to eligible applicants with the required provincial referral. An offer or endorsement does not guarantee permanent residence.
Our Windsor team can review your circumstances and documents and explain the services available under an agreed retainer. Government authorities decide applications; eligibility, invitations and approval are not guaranteed.
Official information: Check the latest program requirements. Intake, fees and processing times can change.
